This lock is good for a fast run into a store, bar, etc. I would only suggest using this in a public place to deter people from stealing it. I would not use it when you cant keep an eye on the scooter. The worst part of this lock is the fact it does not protect the contents of your ice chest! Your beer will be ripped off! -- Good for locking up your scooter, Bad because it doesnt protect the contents of the ice chest
