I was very pleased with the balance bike - it went together very easily. In fact, some of the instructions were not necessary because several of the steps in the assembly process had already been done at the factory. No problems! -- Excellent Product

My son never used this. I bought it and have had it around for a couple of years as he learned to ride a bike. He's now 5 and rides bike very well without training wheels, but not as a result of this training bike. It's well built, and may work for some. -- Nice toy, but not used.

We bought this bike for my son right after he started walking. And now he is 3 and rides a "normal" bike without training wheels!!! We lived in Germany at that time and all kids 1 year and a half and up ride these bikes and we were amazed how good they are!!! The price might be higher than for other toys but this is at least one that help them learn something!!!

This bike was for my 2 year old and is the perfect starter bike for him. He is on the tall side and just fits it. The best is that the seat will adjust as he gets bigger. This was really easy to assemble and looks as though it can take a beating. I think it looks more like a real bike and this will help him be ready for the real thing with pedals and all! -- Great bike

I can't say enough great things about this balance bike. It was worth every single cent. I'll be honest, we used to live in Manhattan and in May 2008 we bought one for our son's 3rd birthday and he used it sporadically for that spring and summer. Once the winter months hit he didn't use it at all so I wasn't too sure if we made the right purchase. This past May he turned four and with the warm weather we brought the balance bike out, again. The reception was better but still not great. We would take it to the playground and he started using it more but still the reception was lukewarm. We moved to the suburbs where he had a lot more room and space and everything changed!!!! Once he gained his confidence and got the full hang of the balance bike he was zipping around the yard like a true champ. Now's he's only 4 yrs and 3 months old and he is able to ride a "big boy" bike without ANY training wheels!!!! Within the first hour of trying to ride his older cousin's bike he was able to ride unassisted. It's amazing. When I say it's amazing I mean it is AMAZING. -- AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!
